ethernet disconnected? cant enable ethernet, even with IP

     Trying to enable Ethernet. selection screen with checkmark is darkened and cannot enable, even with a "legal" IP address I cannot seem to enable Ethernet. Please help

     Apparantly this is due to a missing USB to Ethernet adaptor part# 112-100002-501.

    Ethernet adaptor is optional parts for Maxisys Elite. You can order from your dealer.

     But just to be clear..
    Is the USB Ethernet Adapter mainly to provide the MaxiSys Elite a wired connection to the Internet?

    It looks like for programming is best to have the VCI wired(with provided RJ45 Ethernet cable for a more reliable connection)
    and MaxiSys to VCI with Provide USB cable.

    I noticed MaxiSys communicates with VCI(there is a green check mark at VCI icon on the screen) when connected via USB cable.  This is with VCI wired to router( with provided RJ45 Ethernet cable) but there is not internet access on MaxiSys unless Wireless is Turned ON.
